I know someone who accumulated a lot of Bitcoin from an online offshore casino. The apparent problem with that Bitcoin is Coinbase will not convert it into US dollars at the same rate as Bitcoin purchased on Coinbase and then converted back to US currency. I don't know the exchange rates. All I know is if you moved Bitcoin you won at a casino or sports book into a Bitcoin wallet and expect to get anything near the price of $59,000 per Bitcoin you are in for a rude awakening. As I'm not familiar or have access to the exact exchange rates and I haven't seen them listed anywhere maybe someone could enlighten us with what they are.

I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will increase sharply prior to 4/14 as investors get all excited for another windfall. What about buying a Tesla. Can someone just transfer Bitcoin from a wallet to buy a Tesla or does it have to be through Coinbase or another approved exchange. Is the price the same for Tesla if I were to plunk down US dollars. In other words. If a Tesla model for the sake of argument is $59,000 US would I be able to buy a Tesla for 1 Bitcoin. Or would it be 1.5 Bitcoins to buy the Tesla or $59,000 cash. I saw one auto dealership in Europe selling cars for Bitcoin and the mark-up was incredible. But I can understand if you were involved in illegal activities and were sitting on a bunch of Bitcoin it would make no difference as you are just trying to launder the Bitcoin into real property.

Coinbase sucks. Going after big fish and financial institutions while ignoring everyday investors.

Hold up.

So if I tried to exchange my bitcoin on coinbase I would receive a different amount?
